Location: Hayes, LondonHours: Part-time – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 11:00amContract: Ongoing Temporary Work.
£12.50- £14.00 depending on experience.
We are seeking a reliable and conscientious Part-Time Caretaker to join a friendly primary school based in Hayes. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Unlocking and securing the school premises each morning
* Carrying out daily health and safety checks around the school site
* Undertaking basic maintenance and minor repairs
* Ensuring classrooms, corridors, and communal areas are safe and tidy
* Setting up rooms and furniture as required
* Managing waste disposal and recycling
* Liaising with the school office regarding any maintenance issues
* Supporting contractors on site when necessary
Requirements:
* Previous caretaking or facilities experience (desirable)
* A good understanding of health and safety within a school environment
* Ability to work independently and proactively
* Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
