An exciting opportunity has arisen within Forth Valley Social Care Partnership for a suitably qualified registered nursefor the post of the Complex Care Education Facilitator.
The working environment is based within Stenhousemuir Health Centre/Falkirk Community Hospital although you will be expected to travel between base and other areas.
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, kind, caring and hard working experienced Registered Nurse who has vision and can demonstrate high standards to care. The delivery of holistic, person-centred care is paramount. Your ability to problem-solve and think on your feet is vital. Experience of clinical training skills is a requirement of the post and this will include suctioning, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding and ventilation support. The preferred candidate must demonstrate evidence of leadership skills and evidence of an appetite for lifelong learning with a focus in continuous quality improvement to ensure patient safety.
As part of the multidisciplinary team the post holder will have responsibility for all clinical training needs and analysis of NHS staff, patients, families and external care agencies. This will include assessment, delivery, and supervision of care needs, supporting the clinical standards within the patient’s own home environments and Nursing Homes, to ensure that Quality Standards and Key Performance Indicators are met. You must be a team player and share the values of the 20-20 vision.
Experience of working as a band 6 is desirable. Experience in complex care needs is desirable. You will be expected to work a flexible work pattern.
The successful candidate will provide training management support to the Complex Care Team Leads, in the delivery of the day to day management of the complex care service as well as the delivery of the needs of service and organisation for patients in our care. The role has an expectation to include competency reviews and learning objective assessments to enhance the service needs and personal development of all staff caring for complex care patients.
