Position - Registered Children's Manager
What's in it for you? Salary between 41000 and 51,000 p.a plus annual KPI's paying out anything up to 10k+ per year in bonuses.
Where you'll be doing it - Taunton, Somerset
Your employment contract - Permanent
Your hours - 40 hours per week
Who you would be working for - A children's residential provider. This is a spacious, detached, four-bedroom home located in an elevated area near Taunton, surrounded by a large, well-maintained garden. The home provides a supportive and nurturing environment for up to two young people who may have experienced disrupted care, attachment difficulties, or challenging experiences during childhood. Living here gives young people a sense of safety and belonging, alongside the opportunity to work collaboratively to overcome past challenges and achieve positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the registered homes under the direction of the Head of Service.
* Inspire and support care staff to work with dedication, professionalism, and empathy.
* Act as a positive parental role model to create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where young people can thrive.
* Commit to providing exceptional care that meets and aims to exceed the Children's Homes National Standards.
* Help young people build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
Requirements
* Strong background in supporting children and young people with challenging behaviours or additional needs.
* A relevant qualification such as RMA, LMC, NVQ Level 4, or working towards the LMC award or Level 5 Diploma.
