We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Transactional Manage r to join a fast-paced, forward-thinking finance team based in Sheffield. This role is initially for a minimum 2 months with the potential to be longer. As Transactional Manager, you will oversee the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger/Credit Control functions, leading a small team, driving performance, ensuring compliance, and streamlining transactional processes to support the wider business. Key responsibilities to include, but not limited to: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the transactional finance team. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all AP, AR, and cash transactions. Develop and implement process improvements and automation initiatives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support financial reporting and audit requirements. Monitor KPIs and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Coach and develop team members to support their growth and success. Other ad hoc duties as required. The person: Proven experience in a similar role within a large or complex organisation is required. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential. Excellent knowledge of financial systems and Microsoft Excel is required You will have a detail-oriented mindset with a drive for efficiency and accuracy. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
