Overview
MLD Tutor role (Maths, English, or Science) at Targeted Provision in Norfolk. We are seeking SEN / SEND Tutors for young people with SEN/SEND, SEMH, and other additional educational needs. Multiple positions are available; hiring is ongoing to meet the needs we support.
Targeted Provision is on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN/SEND, SEMH and other needs. We support children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and provide 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner. You will be supported throughout every placement by our SEN / SEND Support Specialists.
This role is ideal for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who want to work via 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with a variety of learning needs.

Role and Responsibilities
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Support young people referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journey
* Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
* Plan each tutoring/mentoring session and provide engaging, needs-based experiences
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Needs
* Experience and understanding of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (assistance to obtain at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* Based in the UK with right to work in the UK (even for remote/online work)
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people
Employment Status
* Engagement as a Worker with short-term engagements as they arise
* Contract for service; paid via PAYE
* No guaranteed hours or expenses coverage
* Company insurance covers work conducted for Targeted Provision
* Not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position
