An exciting opportunity has arisen within Infrastructure, Stirling Council, for a Janitor to work within Bluebell House and Bannockburn High School.
The post involves providing janitorial services on a full-time basis (35 hours per week) to support the High School community.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 15:30, with options to work on a shift basis to cover out-of-school activities, which may include weekend work. The role also includes a 60-minute unpaid break, paid at Stirling Council's Grade 5.
Personal protective equipment, tools, and training will be provided. The role requires physical fitness due to porterage and heavy lifting, and willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather. Occasional evening overtime may be necessary to cover school lettings.
Applicants should have a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to use Stirling Council's online training and HR IT applications.
The successful candidate must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If progressed after interview, verification will be required.
