• Undertake specified work with individuals, groups and whole classes under the direction and supervision of a qualified teacher
• Have high expectations and encourage the participation of pupils in the social and academic processes of the school, and enable pupils to become more independent learners.
• Work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
• Can build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treating them with respect and consideration
• Value and promote the wellbeing and the school’s safeguarding culture.
About you
Assist the teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment
• Promote the inclusion, independence and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom, employing strategies to recognise and reward achievement of self reliance.
• Be flexible and enjoys working with a variety of children across the age ranges
• Be motivated and is committed to teamwork and maintaining high standards
• Be energetic, enthusiastic and has a growth mindset
