Job Description
3. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards including FVA and Companies House.
4. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting.
5. Manage the group reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.
6. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes to aid decision-making.
7. Monitor and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes.
9. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
10. Provide expertise in financial systems and reporting tools.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
11. Professional qualifications in Accounting or Finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
12. Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards.
13. Experience in financial statement preparation and budget management.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
