Cammach are currently recruiting an ROV Mechanical Technician on behalf of our client based in Aberdeen. The role is offered on a 6 month contract with the possibility of being extended. ROLE As ROV Workshop Mechanical Technician you will be part of the ROV Asset department. You will assist in carrying out Mechanical maintenance on ROV’s and equipment systems (ROV, TMS, Winch, HPU, A-Frame etc.). In accordance with company procedures and direction of Workshop Manager and Lead Workshop Technician. RESPONSIBILITIES To assist in carrying out mechanical maintenance activities on Saipem’s ROV and Equipment (ROV, TMS, Winch, HPU, etc), under supervision/direction of the Lead technicians in the workshop. To develop and gain knowledge and experience on mechanical maintenance activities related to Saipem’s ROV and Equipment To assist in carrying out mechanical maintenance and repair activities on workshop equipment To become familiar with and to maintain awareness of Saipem’s current requirements / protocols / policies and where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations To ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with Saipem’s policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters in accordance with company specific procedures REQUIREMENTS Required: Industry training in mechanical disciplines, i.e. Time-served, or equivalent Desirable: Previous mechanical maintenance experience in a similar or equivalent role Please note: All applicants must reside in the UK and possess full, permanent UK right-to-work status, as our client is unable to offer sponsorships.
