Job Title: Senior Project Professional (Construction/Infrastructure)
Location: Barrow-In-Furness – On Site
Salary: Circa £43,000 - depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* End to end project management of diverse projects within a highly regulated environment
* Managing, monitoring and controlling project activities and schedules to support their effective delivery throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
* Responsible for controlling & reporting against all commercial, financial and risk aspects of projects from concept to completion
* Facilitating design reviews, aspect and impact assessments and regular project meetings throughout the duration of projects
* Discharging Client duties in accordance with Regulatory requirements
Managing multiple PM/Construction aspects while also effectively liaising with Contractors and internal/external Stakeholders
Your skills and experiences:
* Experience of working alongside a PMO function through project delivery
* Experience of managing contractors.
* Stakeholder management experience at mid-management level internally and externally
* Project Management and Control skillset (e.g. development of Plans, Business Cases, Risk Management, stakeholder engagement or equivalent experience)
* Qualification in Construction or Engineering or Project Management
* Experience working in Construction or engineering/industrial environments
* Experience/ of Health and Safety/Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations
The Site and Facilities Team:
As a Senior Project professional, you will be a member of a growing team within S&F, while reporting to a Project Manager and will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of Infrastructure projects. You will also be dealing with internal and external Stakeholders and Contractors and managing these relationships. You will be overseeing million pound projects that are critical to delivering forthcoming growth expansions at BAE that will impact the future of the business.
