Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility available!

Your Responsibilities
As a Section Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring engineering and technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing focused engineering support and technical assurance, coordinating between design, delivery, and commercial teams.
* Interpreting design documentation to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
* Supporting construction teams with technical queries and resolving design conflicts.
* Managing temporary works designs and approvals in line with site requirements.
* Monitoring construction progress and providing accurate technical input for project reporting.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* A HNC/HND or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in civil engineering, mechanical, electrical, or a related discipline.
* Practical experience in infrastructure or wastewater construction projects, focusing on engineering assurance.
* The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* A working knowledge of construction methods, health and safety legislation, and site quality procedures.
* A CSCS card and a full driving license.
* Proficiency in MS Office and construction-related software (e.g., AutoCAD, Navisworks).
