Join our team at the University of Leicester as a Post-Doctoral Researcher. You will work on an important project aiming to improve early diagnosis of retinoblastoma, a childhood eye cancer, using advanced imaging and data analysis. In this role, you will: Develop and apply AI tools to analyse eye images Work with hospitals across the UK to collect and study patient data Help create new methods to detect and understand this disease Travel to different medical centres as needed About you We're looking for someone with: A PhD (or nearly completed) in bioinformatics, computational biology, or similar field Experience analysing medical images and working with data Strong programming skills in R or Python Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Ideally, you would also have: Experience with AI and machine learning for medical images Experience working with data from multiple hospitals An interest in rare disease research.
