We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care team in North Lincolnshire. This is a full-time, community-based role supporting adults with a wide range of physical, sensory, and cognitive needs. The position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact, promoting independence and wellbeing in people’s homes and communities.
Main Duties for the Occupational Therapist include:
1. Completing holistic assessments of adults with complex physical, sensory, and cognitive impairments.
2. Developing and implementing person-centred intervention plans to promote independence and reduce risk.
3. Recommending and facilitating the provision of equipment, adaptations, and assistive technology.
4. Working collaboratively with individuals, carers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams across North Lincolnshire.
5. Maintaining accurate and timely case records in line with professional and legal standards.
6. Contributing to safeguarding and risk management processes.
7. Promoting the principles of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and other relevant legislation.
To Be Successful:
8. Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist in a community or adult social care setting.
9. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and the ability to apply clinical reasoning in complex cases.
10. HCPC Registration
11. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain this for you)
12. Eligibility to work in the UK
13. Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
