Overview
We are seeking an experienced Radar Signal Processing Consultant to join a growing team working on cutting-edge defence and national security projects. This role offers the opportunity to develop and apply advanced modelling, simulation, and signal processing techniques to solve complex engineering challenges within the Electronic Warfare and Radar domains.
You will work on the development of proof-of-concept models, advanced simulations, and system architectures using MATLAB, Simulink, and Python, contributing to innovative technologies that support the UK's defence capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and analyse Radar and Electronic Warfare system models using MATLAB, Simulink, and Python.
* Design, implement, and validate signal processing algorithms and simulation environments.
* Develop advanced models of complex systems and assess interactions between subsystems.
* Support system architecture development and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) integration activities.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative proof-of-concept solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience developing and/or modelling Radar or Electronic Warfare systems.
* Strong modelling and simulation experience using MATLAB, Simulink, and/or Python.
* Experience with system architecture, signal processing algorithm development, and validation.
* Simulation test bench development and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) experience.
* Strong engineering, mathematics, and physics fundamentals with the ability to solve complex technical problems.
