RM Recruit are proud to be working in partnership with an excellent third sector client based in Stourbridge who are seeking a driven Finance Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis for circa 3 months. This role is mostly remote working with the office presence set at once per week. This role will play an important part in ensuring smooth day-to-day finance operations, with a focus on both purchase ledger and sales ledger activities. As the ideal candidate you will be available immediately or on short notice. Key Responsibilities * Processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and staff expenses in line with company policy * Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies * Raising and issuing sales invoices to customers * Posting and allocating customer payments * Chasing outstanding debt and assisting with credit control where required * Assisting with month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting * Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc administrative tasks Person Specification * You will be AAT qualified or qualified by experience * Excellent communication skills * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload * Confident using accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar) and Excel * A proactive team player with strong communication skills If you’re an expe...
