Job Description
The Project Quantity Surveyor will have the following responsibilities:
● Gathering projects forecast and their assurance before they are submitted to Finance for processing.
● Produces cost information throughout the programme lifecycle and manages the change control process.
● Assists the project delivery teams QSs and PLs as needed in their forecasting duties and change control processes.
● Carries out monthly deep dives and health checks on projects, scrutinizing movements in periods across all budget lines, accruals and GRNs.
● Conducts Quality Assurance reviews of uploaded data by data analyst in Power Bi for financial dashboard and CCF (Change Control Form) dashboard.
● Prepares the narrative for the monthly PowerBi financial dashboard report
● Reviews change controls forms from PMO (Programme Management office) project delivery teams and maintains the CCF dashboard tracker in coordination with the data analyst.
Qualifications
* Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
* Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution.
* Proven experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of CM services including Pre Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.
* Passionate about delivering high quality consulting services to our clients.
* Understanding of JCT and NEC standard forms of contract.
* Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation.
* Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilise digital measurement, cost planning and tender document tools shall be essential.
* Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
