Purpose of the Position

The Maintenance Manager plays a key role in ensuring that all C & S homes and facilities, including ensuring the childrens residential homes, are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. The role involves overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and supporting external contracts where needed to deliver effective and timely repairs.

Base Location: Exeter & Bodmin
Title: Maintenance Manager
Hours: Full Time 40hrs week
Typical working week Monday to Friday with occasional weekends and call outs
You must be eligible to work full time in the UK
Hold a full UK driving licence.

Central and Southern are looking for a person to join our maintenance department, the role requires a knowledge of:
General Maintenance Works
Basic Plumbing & Electrical
Carpentry Background Preferred
Painting and Decorating
Cover multiple homes in Devon and Cornwall

Your Key responsibilities :
Maintaining properties
Being responsible and trustworthy
General maintenance checks
Delivering and collecting goods
Accessing the maintenance tracker and selecting jobs based on importance and updating the the tracker once complete (Basic IT capabilities)

Salary: £30,000 (van will be provided)
Overtime Available
