Overview
We are seeking skilled Roofing professionals to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and be adept at various roofing techniques. This role requires both physical stamina and technical knowledge to ensure the successful installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems.
Operatives Will need experience in the following:
* Roof works
* Facia/soffits
* External cladding works (porches)
* Joinery work (roofing)
Duties
* Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems including flat roofs and pitched roofs.
* Interpret schematics and blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
* Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for roofing tasks.
* Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
* Conduct routine inspections of roofs to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
* Engage in fabrication tasks as needed for custom roofing solutions.
* Assist with carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and welding tasks related to roofing projects.
Skills
* Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints is essential.
* Experience with welding techniques is advantageous.
* Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in roofing applications.
* Background in construction with a focus on roofing systems is required.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
* Familiarity with carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and fabrication processes is beneficial.

Pay: £180.00-£220.00 per day
