BUSINESS UNIT: CF&O Shared Services (CFOSS) was created with the objective to centralize related platforms, services, and expertise required by multiple CF&O divisions in order to realize efficiencies and uniform solutions.
The team's core priorities include:
1. Establishing positions data quality, accountability, and lineage.
2. Developing unified data models across assessment platforms and ensure they meet regulatory and internal Risk &pliance management requirements.
3. Accelerating the adoption of Cloud and Core Engineering solutions.
4. Support the development of analytic calculations and data transformations.
5. Provide workflow efficiencies through the systemization and automation of review, sign-off, andmenting processes of financial metrics and the associated limits.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
This Associate Software Engineer role is for a professional who is passionate about digital transformation, increasing operational efficiency through automation, reduce technical debt and develop highly scalable and reliable applications. CF&O divisions have several web applications that generate data that are used for internal Risk &pliance management and regulatory reporting. Data warehousing, data analytics and machine learning skills will be useful as there is a significant focus on data and reporting.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL (RESPONSIBILITIES)
6. Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that provides exposure to all areas of Finance.
7. Build strong relationships with business partners.
8. Understand business needs, facilitating and developing process workflow, data requirements, and specifications required to support implementation.
9. Develop technical specifications, high level/detailed design, testing strategies, and implementation plans from business requirements.
10. Manage end-to-end systems development cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing, UAT and maintenance.
11. Exploring new and emerging technologies as needed by the project.
SKILLS AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
12. Bachelor's degree inputer science, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
13. 2+ years of relevant experience in software development, including a clear understanding of data. structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts.
14. Strong client / stakeholder management skills with strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
15. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
16. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong delivery focus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
17. Strong programming experience in at least onepiled language ( C, C++, Java)
18. Full Stack Developer with experience working with React.
19. In-depth knowledge of relational and columnar SQL databases, including database design
20. Experience with industry standard frameworks and tools such as SpringBoot, DropWizard, Maven, Web/RESTful service development, etc.
21. Knowledge of ORM frameworks like Hibernate, SpringJPA, etc.
22. Experience in ML/Data Science/AWS will be relevant and useful.
23. Experience with continuous delivery and deployment.
24. Proficient at working with large andplex code bases.
25. Sound in object-oriented programming fundamentals
