Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveyor in Harlow

Your new role involves taking full financial and commercial responsibility for a portfolio of contracts, ensuring cost-effective delivery of contracted services within legislative and contractual obligations. You will support delivery teams with financial processes such as monthly valuations, applications, forecasts, and variations. Additionally, you will estimate materials, time, and labour costs, report opportunities to clients, and assist the estimating team with tendering. The role also includes preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and schedules of rates.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Mechanical and Electrical industry, preferably within a Data Centre environment.
* Ability to manage multiple projects of varying sizes while demonstrating leadership qualities aligned with the client brand.
* Qualifications: Quantity Surveying and/or Construction/Engineering Qualification (HND or Degree Level), MRICS qualification preferred.
* Relevant CSCS card.
* Strong analytical skills and experience with Document Management Systems, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Asta Powerproject, Excel, Anaplan, or similar packages.
* Knowledge of statutory requirements, construction methods, contract types, and processes.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
