Working Hours: Monday–Thursday: 09:00–17:00, Friday: 09:00–12:00

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our team and manage a portfolio of clients. As part of a supportive and collaborative environment, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the firm while developing your skills further.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing 2-3 SME client portfolios, ensuring excellent service and strong client relationships.
* Preparing and reviewing:
* Annual accounts
* Corporation tax returns
* Self-assessment tax returns
* VAT returns
* Management accounts
* Offering proactive advice and identifying value-adding opportunities.
* Supporting junior colleagues and assisting with workflow management within the firm.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
* Experience in an accountancy practice is essential, although we are open to considering less experienced candidates as well.
* Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation and tax compliance.
* Ability to manage client relationships independently.
* Excellent organisational skills and a high attention to detail.
* A confident communicator with a professional and approachable manner.
* A strong team player with a collaborative approach.
Desirable:
* ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (we will consider candidates at different experience levels).
* Familiarity with cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
