Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated, experienced and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our conveyancing department, ensuring that all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately. This position requires strong organisational skills, a customer service focus, and the ability to analyse information effectively.

Key responsibilities
* Preparation of correspondence and documents using the case management system
* Opening files - both physical files and on the case management system - carrying out AML Checks, conflict checks, and closing files
* Making appointments, arranging meetings and maintaining diaries
* Assisting accounts staff in setting up completion, drafting Statement of Accounts, generating bills in a timely manner and monitoring payment
* Dealing with downloading Title documents from Land Registry and preparing Contract pack
* Dealing with Registration applications at Land Registry in a timely manner and Land Registry requisitions and monitoring the progress of the same
* Preparing and attending to Stamp Duty Land Tax on completion and submission
* Assisting fee earners with pre and post -exchange, pre-completion, completion and post-completion matters on residential property files
* Preparation and dispatch of post, emails and faxes with relevant enclosures
Skills
* Minimum 1 year's conveyancing assistance essential
* Excellent customer service abilities to foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines
* Good computer skills including using Microsoft Windows/Word are essential and experience using case management system (Leap) would be advantageous
* Ability to prioritise work, function efficiently under pressure and remain calm and professional
* Strong calendar and file management skills are vital
* Ability to demonstrate and implement initiative when working on files
* Enthusiasm and a positive "can do" attitude, with a willingness to continued learning and development
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
