The Opportunity: Workshop Support Engineer Contract: Permanent Location: Chatham site (Kent) Salary £26,829 Bonus AmeyBriggs is a joint venture between Amey PLC and Briggs Equipment UK delivering the prestigious MITER contract. Our team provides global support to the Ministry of Defence (MOD). As part of this contract we will manage and maintain the MOD’s specialist plant and MHE fleet. The Impact you will have: Preparation of equipment for demand. Cleaning equipment prior to and post demand. Checking and preparing CES Preparation of all associated documentation and handover takeover paperwork Assist in handover and take back of equipment at customer locations as required Bullet 7 Assist in the good upkeep and cleanliness of the pool location Delivery and collection of equipment and spare parts as required Completion of job cards in accordance with data entry requirements for the Fleet Management System Assist Engineers as required Must be willing to work away from regional pool location and in other AmeyBriggs regional areas. Will be required to undertake out of hours duties including weekend work and callouts. Will be required to achieve local, or team placed goals and KPI’s What will help you to excel in this role: Able to demonstrate a positive culture for their own and others’ safety, to be able to complete work based dynamic risk assessments and to assist in the production of hazard surveys and safe systems of work. Good communication skills Able to maintain periods of intense workload No restrictions to gaining MoD security clearance.
