We are looking for a Learning and Development Co-ordinator to join our Newcastle team.
About The Team
Norton Rose Fulbright’s Learning and Development (L&D) department is part of the People and Culture function, supporting the firm's strategic objectives.
About The Role
You will report to the Learning and Development Operations Team Leader and collaborate with colleagues across Newcastle, London, and globally in EMEA, Australia, South Africa, Canada, and the US.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Traveling to the London office for core L&D programme coordination.
2. Maintaining exceptional client service and answering programme-related queries.
3. Engaging in teamwork for successful execution of all programmes.
4. Acting as an expert on Continuing Competency Regime requirements.
5. Administering psychometric assessments and producing reports.
6. Maintaining accurate records in Interaction and LMS, and generating reports.
7. Collaborating with the Leadership Team and L&D Managers to produce training materials.
8. Saving work received from the document production specialist into SharePoint.
9. Ensuring quality in emails and documents.
10. Coordinating end-to-end organisation of internal and external training sessions.
11. Evaluating and updating process notes for efficiency.
12. Conducting service reviews with the facilities department.
13. Leading pre- and post-course review meetings.
14. Providing project and task updates during weekly catchups.
15. Processing supplier invoices and expenses promptly.
16. Supporting team members with their projects in their absence.
17. Working on key projects as requested.
Skills And Experience Required
Candidates should have:
* Experience in coordinating or arranging events.
* Legal or professional services experience is desirable.
* Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
* Ability to adapt to change with confidence and agility.
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
* Stakeholder engagement skills at all levels.
* Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office packages.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A proactive, positive attitude with a “can-do” approach.
