About the Role
Are you ready to take on a leadership role that prioritizes safety and efficiency? As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a safe and productive work environment. This full-time position operates from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and offers you the chance to lead a dedicated team in a clean plastic manufacturing setting.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead engaging safety meetings, including Pre-shift and Department discussions.
* Conduct thorough incident investigations and implement corrective actions promptly.
* Establish and oversee an effective preventive maintenance program.
* Manage inventory systems to ensure all maintenance supplies are readily available.
* Oversee major repairs and upgrades, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
* Review work orders and coordinate necessary parts for tasks.
* Ensure all maintenance is performed by qualified personnel and properly documented.
* Coordinate vendor services for various maintenance needs.
* Guarantee quality workmanship in all maintenance projects.
* Ensure all personnel receive necessary safety training.
* Evaluate department personnel through performance appraisals.
* Manage scheduling, including workdays, vacations, and payroll accuracy.
Essential Skills
* Expertise in maintenance technician roles.
* Proficiency in preventive maintenance.
* Strong management and supervision skills.
* Knowledge of safety protocols, especially in plastics injection molding.
* Electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
* Mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatic expertise.
* PLC troubleshooting capabilities.
* Experience with injection molding machines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in plastic injection molding and/or plastic manufacturing.
* Management or supervisory experience.
* High-level maintenance experience.
* Process improvement skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year.
