We are recruiting caring and reliable Children's Outreach Support Workers to provide respite and outreach support to children and young people with learning disabilities.
You will deliver both 1:1 and 2:1 support packages, working with a small number of families. Support takes place in the child's home and within the community, helping them build confidence, develop independence, and access meaningful activities.
What you'll do:
* Deliver high-quality 1:1 and 2:1 person-centred support
* Support community outings and structured activities
* Promote independence and life skills
* Follow individual care and behaviour support plans
* Work in partnership with families and professionals
* Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures
What we're looking for:
* Experience supporting children with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs
* Ability to work independently and as part of a 2:1 team
* Availability to work weekends, school holidays, and early evenings (essential)
* Patient, resilient, and compassionate approach
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
