P1 offers model portfolio services to advisory firms across a range of disciplines, including active, passive and ethical investment.
The Role
P1 are looking for a self-driven individual to join our Exeter office as an Associate Investment Manager, offering a unique environment to develop a broad range of skills and experiences alongside gaining industry qualifications and progression into being a qualified Investment Manager. The role is ideally suited for an individual at the beginning of their career who is keen to develop within a fast paced and rapidly growing company.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Develop expertise in the P1 Investment process and proposition
* Develop technical knowledge related to Financial Markets and investment management
* Work towards industry qualifications (eg. CISI IAD level 4/CFA ICM Level 4)
* Continuous learning and drive to improving knowledge of the industry and investments
* Assist with fund manager engagement and maintenance of standards within the P1 Ethical and Sustainable investing proposition
* Assist with fund manager due diligence and selection
* Be an active part of the investment management team debate and decision making
* Provide support to the operational implementation of the investment proposition
* Provide administrative support to the Investment Management team.
Qualifications / Experience Required:
* Education: A-level standard or equivalent, in relevant subjects.
* Relevant University Degree or industry qualifications preferred but not essential
* Experience: At least 12 months within the financial services industry.
* Familiarity of financial markets and current affairs.
