Sizewell C (SZC) is one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects, supporting the UK’s climate change goals and energy policy.
This is an opportunity to join the expanding Civils Works Programme at Sizewell C and contribute to the UK’s net zero ambitions. SZC is a Nuclear New Build project providing low-carbon electricity for 6 million homes for 60 years. The project has planning approval and is seeking financing, with construction expected to start in 2024.
The Civils Works Programme team provides commercial assurance for the alliance of contractors delivering civils works. We are looking for a Commercial Manager to manage contracts with key suppliers and eventually oversee commercial assurance as works progress on site.
If you are experienced in contract administration, especially with NEC contracts and large infrastructure projects, and interested in commercial assurance and performance management, this role is for you. We support flexible, hybrid working arrangements and provide necessary IT equipment.

What you’ll be doing:
* Managing NEC3 contracts with suppliers, including payment assessments, change claims, and early warning management, initially for 3-12 months.
* Implementing a consistent approach to commercial assurance across the civils works programme.
* Building relationships with stakeholders across Projects Controls, Delivery, and Engineering teams.
* Supporting the Senior Commercial Manager in performance measurement, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Who you are:
You should have 3-5 years of experience in a Commercial/Contract management role, with a focus on commercial/supplier assurance and contract administration. You are motivated, pragmatic, and capable of working across multiple teams and stakeholders to develop and implement commercial assurance processes.
