Key responsibilities of the Accounts Senior:
4. Preparing year-end accounts for a broad range of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
5. Managing your own client portfolio and acting as a key point of contact.
6. Preparing management accounts, VAT returns, and Corporation Tax computations.
7. Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work where required.
8. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
9. Building strong working relationships with clients to provide ongoing advice and support.
The ideal Accounts Senior:
10. ACCA/ACA qualified or part-qualified with strong practice experience.
11. Proven experience preparing accounts and managing client relationships.
12. Confident working independently with excellent attention to detail.
13. Strong communication skills and the ability to support and mentor junior colleagues.
14. A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
