SEN Teaching Assistants – Surbiton, South West London
We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in specialist and mainstream schools across the Surbiton area. These roles support pupils with a range of additional needs and offer both short-term and long-term opportunities.
The Role:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis
Working with children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD and complex needs
Assisting with learning, behaviour regulation and personal development
Supporting the class teacher with tailored learning plans
Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
Calm, patient and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage behaviour positively
Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)What’s on Offer:
