Job Opportunity: Sales & Marketing Assistant (Full-Time)
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 DOE
Commitment: Full-Time, Onsite (Monday-Friday)
We’re looking for a passionate, creative Sales and Marketing Assistant who’d like to join our growing team by the seaside. We hand-make puppets, have lots of plastic bricks, and shoot stop-motion in our shining new studio: BUT we need a bright spark who feels they can help us tell the world about it and bring new partners into the building!
This is a proactive role for someone who loves the intersection of high-end craft and cutting‑edge technology. You will be the "engine room" of our outreach, helping our Executive Producer win new business while ensuring our marketing punch is felt across the industry.
The Role
Working directly with our Executive Producer/ Business Development Manager you will help manage the daily flow of our sales and marketing pipeline. You won't just be "following a plan"; you’ll be utilising the latest marketing software and SEO monitoring tools to find new opportunities and build copy that converts. This is a role for a "bright spark" who is as comfortable with data mining as they are at an industry event.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Sales Support & Outreach
* Executive Producer Support: Assisting our Exec Producer with email sends, managing follow‑ups, and ensuring our outreach to agency producers and brands is personalised and high‑impact.
* Database & CRM Management: Keeping our online "black book" shining. You’ll be responsible for updating contacts and maintaining the integrity of our lead databases to ensure no opportunity is missed.
* Data Mining: Proactively identifying new brands and agencies that would be a perfect fit for our stop‑motion craft.
* Presentation Decks: Building beautiful, persuasive presentation decks that showcase our latest films and "making‑of" stories to potential clients.
2. Marketing Execution
* CMS Management: Taking ownership of our website (WordPress) to keep it updated with up‑to‑date copy and our latest animation reels.
* Social Content: Managing posts, monitoring engagement and working with our creative team to capture tactile "behind‑the‑scenes" magic for our social channels.
3. Events & Opportunities
* Opportunity Spotting: Identifying industry events, speaking opportunities, and award deadlines where A+C Studios needs to be seen and heard.
* Event Attendance: Representing the studio at local and national events to build relationships and expand our word‑of‑mouth network.
About You
* Technology First: You have a natural curiosity for new trends and experience leveraging cutting‑edge marketing software to speed up workflows.
* SEO: An appetite to learn and understand how to use SEO tools to find "high‑intent" keywords and can turn that data into compelling copy.
* Creative Eye: You have a great eye for design and a passion for the tactile, frame‑by‑frame world of stop‑motion.
* Margate Resident (or Commutable): This is an on‑site position. We want you in the studio with the puppets and the team!
