Freelance Video Editor (Gaming Content)
Pay: £20 per project (base) + £20 commission per sponsored payout from video
Type: Freelance / Remote
Schedule: Project-based, flexible (not consistent work – as needed)
About the Role
I'm looking for a freelance video editor to help bring gaming content to life. The videos will primarily be long-form recordings (1–2 hours), which need to be cut down into engaging YouTube-ready content. As long as the final edit is over 10 minutes and captures the fun/entertaining moments, I'll be happy.
This isn't a full-time or regular gig—it's a flexible, project-based opportunity where you'll get paid per video. On top of your base pay, if a video is sponsored, you'll receive an extra £20 commission.
What You'll Do
* Edit raw gameplay footage (1–2 hours) into highlight reels or longer-form videos (10+ minutes).
* Add basic cuts, transitions, and pacing to keep the video entertaining.
* Include intro/outro elements (if provided).
* Deliver polished edits in a reasonable turnaround time.
What I'm Looking For
* Experience editing gaming content (or strong interest in gaming).
* Ability to keep edits fun, engaging, and watchable.
* Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines.
* Access to editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, etc.).
Perks
* Flexible freelance work – edit when you can.
* Guaranteed base pay of £20 per video.
* Extra £20 commission on sponsored projects.
* Potential for more frequent work as the channel grows
