The Role
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager who is ready for a greater challenge. You will be responsible for assisting the Manager in the day to day running of a new state of the art nursery:
* Delivering an Early Years curriculum which incorporates Montessori, HighScope and EYFS;
* Creating a warm and welcoming environment for parents and children;
* Recruiting, developing and managing a team of up to 12 staff;
* Selling the nursery to new parents including conducting viewings;
* Responding to all enquiries, both internal and external, in a timely manner;
* Ongoing nursery communications with parents including weekly newsletters;
* Operational planning;
* Budgetary management and reporting;
* Building excellent relationships with children, parents and colleagues;
* Promoting child welfare and ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed;
* Contributing to the reputation of our clients Nursery Group.

What you will bring
* Experience as Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager;
* NVQ/Cache Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, NNEB, Montessori Diploma, Early Years Degree or QTS;
* Strong knowledge of EYFS and children’s learning and development;
* Experience in dealing with external organisations;
* Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication;
* Self-motivation, innovation and a positive outlook;
* Strong planning, budgeting and organisational skills;
* Lots of energy; and above all, A passion for delivering amazing educational experiences to children.
* An Enhanced DBS check and reference checks will be carried out prior to employment.
