The Role
1. Job Title: Operations Coordinator
2. Location: Coventry Building Society Arena
3. Salary: £28,000 per annum
4. Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days over 7, including weekends)
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Operations Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day running of on-site car park operations at the Coventry Building Society Arena. This is a hands-on role requiring a dynamic individual who can manage staff, coordinate logistics, and deliver excellent service during both standard operations and major events.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Manage the daily operation of car parks at the CBS Arena
6. Oversee a team of staff provided by APCOA, ensuring high standards of service
7. Coordinate staffing and operational requirements in line with the arena’s event calendar
8. Deliver staff training and inductions as required
9. Lead and manage the matchday parking team
10. Support the events team with planning and logistics for future events
11. Monitor and report on equipment maintenance and operational issues
12. Handle customer enquiries and provide effective solutions
13. Collate and deliver post-event feedback and operational reports
14. Assist with payroll processing and staffing records
15. Maintain accurate documentation using Excel and internal systems
Key Requirements:
16. Strong organisational and coordination skills
17. Confident in leading and motivating a team
18. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
19. Experience in operational or event coordination preferred
20. Excellent communication and customer service skills
21. Flexible and willing to work weekends as part of a rotating schedule
