About the Role
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Other Responsibilities
* Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
* Being involved in the person‑centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring and undertaking monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
* Acting as a key point of contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals; ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
About You

Ideal Candidate
* NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
Requirements
* DBS Disclosure check, cost covered by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
