Permanent Head Veterinary Nurse - Hertford

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Hertford who are looking for a Permanent Head Veterinary Nurse.
You will be joining a small, talented clinical team. The role will involve all aspects of nursing and you will be prepared to develop your skills by collaborating with the team. You will perform your nursing duties with confidence and competence to provide the gold standard of care to the practice's loyal clients by assisting vets in surgical procedures. You must have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Your nursing duties will involve managing the kennels, assisting in the operating theatre and consulting.
The role is full time for 40 hours per week, along with 1 in 3 Saturdays with time off in lieu. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
Duties:
3. Working closely with the clinical, non-clinical teams and management to deliver the best levels of patient and customer care
4. Leading the nursing team
5. Overseeing the running of the day
6. Working as an active member of the clinical support team
7. General nursing duties
8. Management of stock control
