We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team based out of our Delamere Office. We would be open to experienced Commercial Administrators who are interested in growing into a more cost managing role. We are at the forefront of accelerated growth at OCU. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and management of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for Water projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Support the tendering process, including preparing and reviewing tender documents, and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate terms. Assist in managing contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, and identifying and addressing any issues that arise during the contract lifecycle. Keeping all commercial registers up to date. Monitor and track project costs, expenditures, and cash flow, ensuring that any variations or discrepancies are identified and addressed promptly. Help identify project risks, including cost-related risks, and work with the project team to implement strategies to mitigate these risks. Subcontractor payment review and approval. Identifying and notifying client of EWN events. Previous CEMAR administration experience an advantage. Skills and Experience: Holder of a Full UK Drivers Licence. Educated to Degree level, or equivalent experience. Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office in particular Excel. Must be flexible in hours of work and travel.
