Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness in our guest rooms and communal areas. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a welcoming environment for guests. Hours are flexible, and work is offered on a zero-hours contract with weekly rotas.
Responsibilities:
* Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard
* Change bed linen, replace towels, and restock guest amenities
* Empty bins, vacuum, dust, mop, and clean all surfaces
* Report any maintenance issues or damage to the property manager
* Undertake deep cleaning tasks as scheduled (e.g., behind furniture, under beds, descaling fixtures)
* Maintain cleaning supplies and inform the manager when restocking is needed
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines
Experience:
* Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred (hospitality or residential)
* Strong attention to detail and reliability
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good time management skills
* Basic English communication
Hours & Contract:
* Flexible hours; zero-hours contract
* Work available seven days a week; rotas provided weekly in advance
