Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Afterschools Football Coach to deliver engaging and structured afterschool football sessions. The successful candidate will inspire children to enjoy the game, improve their skills, and develop positive sporting values.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate football sessions.
· Teach fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork.
· Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants at all times.
· Encourage sportsmanship, inclusion, and confidence among players.
· Maintain positive relationships with schools, parents, and guardians.
· Set up and pack away equipment before and after sessions.
Requirements
· Previous experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, or mentoring role.
· FA Level 1 / UEFA C (or working towards) desirable.
· Passion for football and inspiring young players.
· Ability to manage groups of children in a safe and engaging way.
· Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
· Punctual, reliable, and professional in all aspects of work.
