We are recruiting for the role of Advanced Practitioner in our Systemic Practice and Family Therapy Team. There are two full-time roles, one based in the Warwick and South localities and one in Nuneaton & Bedworth and North localities.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality, theoretically informed specialist and bespoke interventions with families experiencing multiple stressors.
* Facilitate Systemic Consultations for professional networks drawing on key theories such as attachment, trauma and child development.
* Deliver therapeutically informed group work programmes for families.
* Contribute to training and development opportunities for colleagues across the service based on the key theories of the Relational Practice Framework.
* Provide an outcome‑focused direct work service in line with the Relational Practice Framework and national regulatory guidelines.
* Challenge preconceived ideas about risk management and drive change as a leader in the organisation, championing relationship‑based assessment, practice and intervention.
* Support the team’s priorities:
o Prevent the accommodation of children by the Local Authority where possible.
o Support children to return home to their families or connected others where possible.
o Support the stability of placements for children looked after by the Local Authority.
o Support the workforce to utilise systemically informed relationship‑based practice.
* Expect to be office‑based minimum three days a week with flexible working hours, including evenings or weekends as required.
* Travel across the county as service needs dictate.
Qualifications & Experience
* Competitive salary based on skills, training and experience.
* To hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (health, social care, child development, therapeutic approach).
* Specialist training to achieve qualification as a Systemic Practitioner; commitment to complete two years of postgraduate Systemic Training (application in June 2026 to start October 2026).
* Ongoing systemic CPD and clinical supervision as per professional requirements.
* Fluency in spoken English; ability to provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public (Fluency Duty).
* Eligibility to apply for professional registration with Association for Family Therapy, Systemic Psychotherapy, Social Work England, etc.
* Subject to pre‑engagement checks, including DBS.
