The Warwick Law School seeks to appoint two permanent Assistant Professors from 1st September 2026 to join our vibrant and supportive team.
Successful candidates will be expected to contribute on a lasting basis to one or more of the School's foundation modules (Criminal Law; Tort Law; Understanding Law in Context; Constitutional and Administrative Law related modules; Contract Law; Property Law). They may also have the opportunity to teach postgraduates.
Applicants are expected to possess experience and expertise to contribute to undergraduate teaching in the areas specified, and to be able to contextualise this with current and evolving research. They must also be able to undertake high‑quality research and teaching, contribute to student experience and academic governance of the School, and be able to support other subjects if required.
The Terms and Conditions of Employment specify that staff must live within a reasonable travelling distance of their place of work in order to fulfil all of the duties of the role.
Salary: £47,389 to £56,535 per annum.
