We're currently supporting a Water Management Operator in their search of a Mechanical Fitter in Peterborough.It is a staff position, where you will assemble, install, maintain and repair mechanical components for functionality as well as support refurbishment and general maintenance tasks.Conduct routine and preventative maintenance tasksCalibrate and validate instruments to maintain accuracy and complianceWork independently or collaboratively with qualified fitters, fabricators, welders, and electricians on larger projects.Requirements:Proven mechanical assembly experienceAbility to read and understand technical drawingsHands-on experience with PVC and stainless-steel pipework, valves, and fittingsPrevious work in an industrial manufacturing or maintenance environment.
