This role offers the opportunity to teach Dance across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering high-quality practical and theory-based lessons that inspire creativity, confidence, and self-expression. The successful candidate will be confident planning engaging schemes of work, assessing pupil progress effectively, and adapting delivery to suit a wide range of abilities and learning styles.

Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Dance at KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
Creating dynamic, inclusive lessons that encourage participation and progress
Supporting students through performance, choreography, and evaluation
Managing behaviour effectively to maintain a safe and focused learning environment
Contributing positively to the wider life of the school and department
The ideal candidate will:
Have proven experience delivering Dance at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential)
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and classroom presence
Be enthusiastic, organised, and passionate about Dance education
