IT Support Specialist
Location: Wadebridge, United Kingdom
Type: Dispatch / Part-time
Hours: 10-20 hours per week
Description: BCIC Swiss GmBH | Best Connect International Company is seeking a dispatch on-site IT Support Specialist in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV issues as needed.
2. Provide timely updates on issue status and resolution.
3. Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
4. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, and Microsoft Office 2010.
5. Support Cisco Jabber and have basic knowledge of Mac OS to assist Apple PC users.
6. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and hardware.
7. Perform preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
8. Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
9. Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network and hardware/software issues.
10. Possess broad IT knowledge, including networks, servers, AV, smart devices, and telecoms.
11. Work effectively in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Must hold a valid work permit.
* Extensive knowledge of IT and computers.
* Several years of professional experience in user support and solution design.
