STORE MANAGER - EDINBURGH
We are seeking an engaging, inspirational Store Manager to lead our team at the Edinburgh store on a fixed-term basis for approximately one year.
Our Store Managers provide leadership and direction, guiding their team to deliver outstanding service that supports the growth of Dr. Martens.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage daily retail operations including staffing, training, sales, visual merchandising, key-holding, administration, banking, and floor planning.
2. Ensure health & safety and security within the store, including implementing search procedures.
3. Achieve KPIs aligned with store budgets.
4. Monitor P&L and control store costs, including payroll.
5. Drive sales performance targets such as Conversion, ATV, and UPT.
6. Implement and uphold high standards of customer service.
7. Manage stock procedures including stock takes, deliveries, and loss prevention.
8. Develop and manage the store team to meet performance targets and enhance customer experience.
Candidate Profile:
* Passion for our products.
* Experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor, preferably within a fashion/lifestyle brand.
* Proven ability to coach, develop, and mentor retail teams, including managing performance issues.
* Sales-driven with the ability to motivate others to meet store goals.
* Excellent communication, numeracy, and literacy skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, cash management, and EPOS systems.
* Resilient and quick-thinking in resolving issues.
