Social Media Content Assistant
Location: Hybrid – Shoreditch, London (2 days in office)
Compensation: London Living Wage (with potential increase if permanent)
Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week | 6-month FTC (with potential to go permanent)

The Role
Do you love social media? Really love it? If you spend hours on TikTok and Instagram spotting trends before they go viral and thinking “I’d make that better,” this could be your dream role.
As our Social Media Content Assistant, you’ll be right in the thick of supporting the creation, editing and managing of content for both clients and Happy Yolk’s own channels.
What You’ll Do
* Support with creating stand-out content – shoot and edit social-first videos, design graphics, and write captions that grab attention
* Spot trends early - keep your finger on the pulse and suggest fresh, creative ways to ride them
* Fuel campaigns - support with campaign content across multiple industries
* Shape brand voice - help craft engaging copy that feels authentic and on-brand
* Grow communities - support with DMs, comments and keeping audiences engaged
* Track results - assist with reporting and share insights to level up performance
Who You Are
* Social-obsessed - Instagram, TikTok, YouTube… you live and breathe them
* Creative and visual - you’ve got an eye for what works on feed and in stories
* Proactive and confident - you bring ideas to the table and love collaboration
* You get tech - you use editing apps in your spare time (Adobe/Canva a bonus)
* Organised and reliable - detail-driven and able to deliver under pressure
* Hungry to learn - excited to grow in content creation, strategy and analytics
