Job Purpose
The Head of Partnerships & Commercial Growth is a key strategic role responsible for driving new revenue streams by establishing and managing third-party partnerships and identifying opportunities to develop proprietary products. The role focuses on signing up value-added services for landlords and tenants, negotiating commercial agreements, and ensuring optimal monetisation and integration of these partnerships. This position plays a critical role in expanding the company’s commercial reach and strengthening its market positioning.
Key Result Areas
Business Development & Partnerships
● Identify, approach, and secure third-party partnerships that align with the company’s landlord and tenant offerings.
● Negotiate commercial agreements, revenue-sharing models, and exclusive partnerships where feasible.
● Research and assess new partnership opportunities, ensuring they align with the company’s growth strategy.
● Establish and maintain long-term, high-value relationships with service providers.
● Ensure seamless onboarding and integration of partner products into company offerings.
Product Development & Monetisation
● Identify gaps in the market and lead the development of proprietary products that enhance customer experience.
● Work closely with the Tech, Finance, and Operations teams to bring new services to market.
● Define pricing strategies, bundling options, and monetization models for partner and proprietary products.
● Conduct pilot programs to test product-market fit before full-scale rollouts.
Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy
● Own and deliver revenue targets through successful partnerships and product offerings.
● Develop and execute a strategic revenue plan, tracking key metrics and optimizing agreements.
● Create scalable monetization strategies that align with the company’s business model.
● Implement data-driven decision-making by analysing partnership performance KPIs.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
● Act as the primary liaison for external partners and internal stakeholders.
● Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to maximize the value of partnerships.
● Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and strategic meetings.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Knowledge:
● Strong understanding of business development, partnerships, and revenue generation strategies.
● Experience in insurance, real estate, proptech, fintech industries is a plus.
● Familiarity with B2B and B2C partnership models.
● Knowledge of revenue-sharing structures, pricing models, and commercial agreements.
Skills:
● Exceptional negotiation and deal-making abilities.
● Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
● Ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
● High-level stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
● Analytical mindset with experience in tracking financial performance and KPIs.
Experience:
● 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or revenue growth roles.
● Proven track record of closing high-value partnerships and driving new revenue streams.
● Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Tech, Finance, and Marketing teams.
● Exposure to subscription-based or SaaS models is an advantage.
