Our fabulous TeamWeavers is on the lookout for a caring and motivated female* colleague to them as a Support Practitioner on a permanent part-time (21 hours per week) basis. The Role As a Support Practitioner, you'll support the individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, support to activities and appointments, managing personal finances, assisting with medication and personal care. The lady you will be supporting has a passion for anything and everything performing arts including music, dancing and drama. When not getting in touch with her creative side, she enjoys being outdoors exploring or taking a trip to the gym and swimming. After a long day the lady we support enjoys nothing more than cooking a well balanced meal to unwind with. With your guidance and support, you'll help the people we support to maintain their own homes and be an active member of their local community. About You You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll pay you for your training and even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too! What we need you to bring: - A caring and compassionate attitude and approach The ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative Good communication skills A positive attitude with a willingness to learn Confidence in the use of computers Due to the person we support having their own car, we will need you to have a full UK manual drivers licence with one years experience on the roads. Shift Patterns Our dedicated team provide 24 hour support with shifts including waking nights, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays would also form part of your rota on a rotational basis. Shifts may occasionally vary depending on the needs of the people we support and activities planned. Our sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional payment for every sleepover you work.
