The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support students across a range of subjects, helping them to achieve their academic potential while developing your own understanding of teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons Providing one-to-one and small group intervention support Assisting students with additional learning needs Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Monitoring student progress and providing feedback Supporting behaviour management and classroom organisation
Requirements:
A high-level degree (2:1 or above preferred) from a recognised university A genuine aspiration to become a teacher Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A positive, proactive and professional attitude* Previous experience working with young people is advantageous but not essential
To be eligible to work within a school, you must:
Have the right to work in the UK Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check Provide satisfactory references covering the last two years Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
