This role offers an opportunity to work with owners, operators, and contractors in the oil & gas, sustainable energy, utilities, and pharmaceuticals sectors.
Job Purpose
To provide insurance consultancy services to lenders involved in structured finance projects. Responsibilities include:
1. Providing consultancy advice on insurance requirements throughout all project phases (construction, operation, etc.).
2. Assessing and advising clients on insurance requirements, terms, and conditions from a lender's perspective.
3. Evaluating local and reinsurance requirements and understanding regulatory restrictions affecting lenders.
4. Advising on the commercial availability of insurance and its implications on loan requirements.
5. Assisting in drafting and negotiating insurance provisions in loan agreements.
6. Reviewing and commenting on risk allocation and insurance provisions in relevant contracts.
7. Auditing and advising on compliance of loan agreements concerning insurance procured by borrowers.
8. Supporting lenders in resolving issues related to compliance with loan agreements.
9. Drafting reports on compliance, coverage applicability, and deviations from loan agreements.

Skills Required
* Communicate effectively with lenders, sponsors, brokers, lawyers, and technical consultants on risk and insurance issues.
* Develop new and existing business opportunities.
* Promote the company at external events, lectures, etc.
* Prepare client invoices and narratives, and assist with accounts as needed.
* Produce client proposals.
* Provide general support and ad hoc assistance as required.
